Breathwork

Also known as “active”, “transformational” or “conscious connected” breathwork.

Taps into the innate potential of our breath to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Unlike traditional breathing techniques, which focus on shallow or controlled breaths, active breathwork involves continuous, rhythmic breathing patterns that help to oxygenate the body at a deep level, designed to help individuals with emotional, physical, and mental release, facilitating healing and personal growth.

Breathwork has been shown to have numerous physical benefits. By increasing oxygen flow throughout the body, it can improve circulation, boost energy levels, and enhance overall vitality. It can also support the immune system, reduce inflammation, and promote detoxification, aiding in the body's natural healing processes.

On a mental and emotional level, active breathwork can promote greater self-awareness, mindfulness, and presence. By focusing on the breath and connecting with the body's innate wisdom, individuals can cultivate a deeper sense of inner peace and alignment. This can lead to greater resilience in the face of life's challenges, as well as enhanced clarity and creativity in decision-making and problem-solving.

In essence, active breathwork offers a holistic approach to well-being, addressing the interconnected nature of the mind, body, and spirit. Whether you're seeking relief from stress, healing from past traumas, or simply looking to deepen your connection with yourself, active breathwork provides a transformative tool for self-discovery, growth, and empowerment. Embark on this journey of self-exploration and unlock the full potential of your breath today.

How Does a Session Work?

In a session, participants lie down and focus on their breath, using techniques like "conscious connected breathing" and "three-part breath." Facilitators may also provide verbal guidance, music, and touch to support the participant's process.

Is breathwork safe for everyone?

While breathwork is generally considered safe for healthy individuals, it is always best to consult with a doctor before starting any new exercise or wellness program, if you have any medical conditions or take any medications. Any contraindications will be discussed prior to your session.
